Rugs
Here are some examples of my previous bespoke rugs, which have been made for warning up cold spaces, ritual gatherings or conceptual art pieces. You can see more of my work on my Insta page.

Red Tent Rug
A custom rug made for a womens group, using fabric the members of the group brought, to imbue meaning and remain connected by threads weaving together symbolically and physically.

Play Center Rug
This Rug was made to warm up an area that had a cold hard floor. the colours of the rug brought the children in to discover a space that had previously been ignored, and encouraged their Imaginary play.

Blue LAgoon bed room
This simple blue and yellow rug makes a great centerpiece for a bedroom. The swirls of colour reminisce a drop of a pebble in a pool, the ripples keep overlapping and extending.

rainbow poof
SOmetimes a rug takes on its own shape and style. This rug wanted more out of life, and now identifies as a bean bag.

Hot air balloon
another run away rug. This one really went places. Right over the rainbow into the clouds.

Placenta Project
The Red Tent Rug made me think about how the rug looks like a placenta & umbilical cord. Experimenting around what does that look like and how does that relate to the idea of waste products and using waste fibers to make rugs.

Baby Mat with Merino wool
This rug was made with all wool scraps. Those holy merinos don't go to waste.

Super Rug
THis rug was made to order.
